Hide In Plain Sight is excited to be a grantee for funds from the Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative (COSI). This state-funded program matches the dollars nonprofit organizations raise for scholarships for students to go to college who demonstrate financial need. Since 2018, we have received and distributed tens of thousands of dollars in scholarships because of this program. Currently, we are managing two COSI grants – one for $25,000 and another one for $35,000. Each year, we submit a report to COSI proving that 1) we raised the total grant amount and 2) we awarded the entire amount to students.
Early last spring, we were awarded a new grant of $50,000! With your help to raise the match, we will continue to grow our capacity to help homeless and impoverished students get a college education!!
